Information accessed

With the mailbox user’s Google authorization, the connector can access the account email address, message headers and bodies, recipients, conversation identifiers, labels, read status, and attachments. It stores authorization tokens to maintain the connection. Prepared forwards contain the selected message text, destination, and attachments.

Purpose and use

Information is used to identify accounting work across related messages, review supporting documents, support the existing Notion task workflow, and organize the relevant messages. Forwarding requires Kathy’s approval for each prepared forward. The connector does not use Google data for advertising, sell Google data, or train AI models.

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Where information goes

Google provides mailbox data to the local connector. When Claude Code requests that data, the returned content is provided to Anthropic’s Claude service for processing. Selected information may be written to Notion through the separately connected accounting workflow. Approved forwards are sent through Gmail to the destination displayed for approval.

Existing Mimestream and Google Apps Script workflows operate separately and may also process mailbox information under their existing authorizations. Those services, Claude, and Notion have their own account settings and privacy policies. This notice does not override them.

Storage and protection

Authorization tokens, desktop connection configuration, and pending-forward content are encrypted on the Mac. The encryption key is held in macOS Keychain. Downloaded attachments are stored as local files with restricted file permissions; they are not individually encrypted by the connector. The Mac’s disk encryption and account security provide additional protection.

The connection and approval interface is accessible through a local address on the Mac, with session and request protections. The public information website contains no mailbox records, attachments, access tokens, or approval controls.

Retention and deletion

Connection credentials remain locally until removed. Downloaded files remain until deleted. Sent or cancelled forward content is removed from the pending-forward record, while status metadata is retained. Expired or uncertain forwards may retain encrypted content to support review and recovery.

To revoke future access, remove Kathy Email Assistant from your Google Account connections. Revocation does not automatically delete files already downloaded, information recorded in Notion, or conversations retained by Claude. Contact Kathy to request removal of local connector data and assistance with any separately stored workflow records, subject to applicable accounting retention obligations.

This site provides app information and this privacy notice. It has no email-upload form and no advertising or analytics scripts added by the app operator. The website hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and secure the site.
